Bella Alexandra Schaerf is a Los Angeles–based occupational therapist and dancer who blends kinesiology with artistry in her teaching. She holds a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and works in acute care and rehabilitation, with a focus on the arts as a healing modality. Bella began dancing at 13 in South Florida, performing with Encore Dance Theatre at venues including the Miami Dolphins halftime show. She later earned a B.S. in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a minor in dance from the University of Florida, where she also taught ballet and led workshops for children with developmental disabilities. Her classes emphasize supportive, engaging environments that foster self-expression through dance.

Camille Goldsborough is a professional ballerina based in Los Angeles, currently a Soloist with Hollywood Ballet. She has danced with The Los Angeles Ballet and the International Ballet of Ukraine, touring Switzerland, France, and Germany, performing in productions of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. Originally from Florida, Camille began her training locally before moving at 15 to study at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, with additional training at Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and the Vaganova Academy in Russia. Camille is the founder of The Prima Club a supportive community and brand for dancers.

Elise Arcuri began dancing at the age of 3 with Festival Ballet in Santa Barbara, where she developed a strong foundation in classical ballet. After graduating high school Elise moved cross country to attend the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music. As a ballet major, she performed in full-length productions including La Bayadère, Swan Lake, Giselle, and Coppélia. In 2025, Elise graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet.Additionally, Elise has trained with companies including Cincinnati Ballet, Joffrey Ballet Chicago, and Oklahoma City Ballet, gaining experience in a wide range of classical and contemporary styles. Through these experiences, she deepened her passion for both performance and education, and is excited to share her knowledge and love of ballet with aspiring dancers through teaching!

Isabella Hoy began dancing at the age of two at Alexandra Ballet. Isabella moved to Southern California and began training in the Vaganova method and Contemporary dance at Southland Ballet Academy. She then became a company member of Festival Ballet Theater where she performed in corps de ballet and lead roles. She has had the privilege of training with world renowned directors and choreographers from Royal Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theater, New York City Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet. In the last few years Isabella has begun a career in acting and teaching ballet.

Lauren Santia

Lauren is a Los Angeles–born dancer who has been doing ballet since the age of three. She primarily studied at the Los Angeles Ballet Academy and later on continued her training at Houston Ballet and Joffrey Ballet Chicago. She holds a BFA in Ballet and a BA in Advertising & Public Relations from Point Park University. Trained in both RAD and Russian techniques, Lauren wants to teach students how to dance with artistry, musicality, and expression!

Linda Malik

Linda Malik, a writer and former professional ballet dancer based in Los Angeles, brings a rich artistic background to her teaching. Originally from Denmark, her training includes Vaganova and Bournonville, as well as Horton and Limón modern dance techniques. During her 12-year professional career, Linda performed with the Pantomime Theatre (Tivoli Ballet) in Copenhagen before joining the Danish Dance Theater, Denmark’s national contemporary dance company. Linda has pursued her passion for storytelling in the U.S., earning both a B.A. and M.A. in Writing for the Screen. Her projects range from children’s picture books to screenplays and animations, all influenced by her visual storytelling approach. Combining her love of dance and writing, Linda is living her dream by teaching ballet and creating stories, including a children’s book series inspired by her rescue cat, Willow.

Maggie Gulitashvili, originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, began her ballet training at the Vakhtang Chabukiani Choreographic School, where she studied the Vaganova method under the guidance of Larisa Chkhikvishvili with artistic direction by Nina Ananiashvili. During her time at the academy, she had the opportunity to train internationally, including a month of intensive training in Tokyo, Japan. She also competed in an international ballet competition in Italy, placing in the top ten, and won first place in a group performance of the traditional Georgian dance Gandagana performed en pointe. After graduating, Maggie joined the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre, where she performed in full-length classical ballets including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, and Don Quixote, as well as contemporary works. After moving to Los Angeles, Maggie continued her professional career dancing with Hollywood Ballet Company and working as a freelance dancer in various performances and productions. She now continues to pursue her ballet career while sharing her passion for dance through teaching and performance.

Michael Cornell

Michael Cornell is the founder and CEO of the Align Ballet Method, a Los Angeles–based program dedicated to teaching authentic classical ballet to adult beginners. Trained at the National Academy of the Arts, Michael went on to a ten-year career as a professional dancer with BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio, performing leading roles in works created for him by elite contemporary choreographers. After relocating to Los Angeles, he became a sought-after certified fitness coach before launching Align Ballet Method in 2011. What began as a single workshop has grown into a thriving community serving hundreds of students weekly across multiple Southern California locations. Align has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, The Los Angele Times, Health, Better Homes and Gardens, Pop Sugar, Daily Candy, Broadway News, Backstage, and KABC Los Angeles. Michael spend his free time attempting to master the Argentine Tango.

Ruby Stewart is a professional dancer, fitness trainer, and ballet teacher based in Los Angeles. She has performed with acclaimed companies including The Realm Company and American Contemporary Ballet. Ruby’s performance work is supported by years of technical training and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Butler University. Her teaching experience spans early childhood to adults. In addition to her dance background, Ruby has trained and taught in high-energy fitness environments such as The Tracy Anderson Method and BURN Collective, bringing a dynamic and holistic approach to movement. Ruby is passionate about creating empowering spaces where students of all levels feel supported, strong, and inspired to grow through dance.

Following her early dance training in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Zoe studied extensively in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s pre-professional program while simultaneously completing her high school education. Zoe continued training and began her professional career in Vancouver BC where she danced for the Vancouver Opera and went on tour with the Goh Ballet. Zoe proceeded to dance as a member of the Connecticut Ballet Company. Having then moved to New York City, she completed multiple Fellowships with the Merce Cunningham Trust performing reconstructions of the Cunningham Company’s original works at City Center in New York. Upon relocation to California, Zoe danced with Pasadena Dance Theatre and ArtistsPlus Productions. In addition to her classes with Align Ballet, Zoe is currently an adjunct professor teaching ballet courses at Hussian College.

Kaylee began her ballet training at the age of two, and grew up dancing at Southland Ballet Academy.

Kaylee began her ballet training at the age of two, and grew up dancing at Southland Ballet Academy. At 14, she attended Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington DC for the summer, and then moved to Long Beach, California, to dance with Long Beach Ballet’s performing company. Kaylee continued to expand her training through Joffrey Ballet School’s contemporary ballet summer program. She was invited to join Joffrey Ballet in New York as a trainee, but instead has chosen to continue her college education at the University of California Irvine, studying Special Education and Psychology. Kaylee performs with the Bare Bones Dance Theatre at UCI, and has recently begun teaching ballet. She is passionate about fostering a positive and encouraging environment where students feel supported, inspired, and motivated to develop strong classical ballet technique while truly enjoying their training.
